Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the State government has established the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) society to assist the industries in their CSR projects.
“The CSR society will be established by us as quite often, the company may take up a CSR project which may not be fully beneficial to the public.”
“Sometimes, industries struggle for certification and other legal documents after having spent the CSR funds. Industries can now take up CSR activities through our society. A Project Cell is also formed under this society which will provide all support to companies for their CSR projects,” he said.
