PANAJI:
A boy studying in Standard 5 was feared drowned in a creek near Sainagar in Tisk-Usgao on Wednesday evening.
The incident is reported to have taken place as the boy was returning home from tuitions along with some other children.
The boy got caught in the creek which was overflowing due to heavy rains. The fire and emergency service personnel from Ponda have launched a search and rescue operation.
