As part of the ongoing State Road Safety Week 2022, GOACAN organised an awareness action on road safety issues along with students of MES College at the NHAI highway junction in Zuarinagar.
Students who were mobilised under the banner of the Consumer Welfare Cell (CWC) and the NSS Unit of the College, participated in the Road Safety Awareness Action.
Students carrying banners, placards and flags appealed to two-wheeler riders to wear ISI marked helmets for their personal safety and to fasten the helmet strap securely. Students who were also witness to riders driving their bikes at excessive speeds have resolved to write to the various authorities to undertake an enforcement drive to control speed.
