The deceased, Tulshi Kuttikar from Sao Pedro, Ribandar, was riding pillion on the bike, while her daughter was riding the two-wheeler.
The truck and the two-wheeler both came from Mapusa and took the turn around KTC traffic circle to enter the capital city.
Police informed that the bike was hit by the rear tyre of the truck and as a result, the two women fell to the ground. However, the old woman, who had sustained a head injury, passed away on GMC.
