Talk on peace and humanity organised

PANAJI: The Value Education Cell of MES College of Arts and Commerce organised a talk on ''Peace and Humanity' on September 28.

Asif Hussain, a businessman and social activist from Vasco was the keynote speaker. Asif stressed on peace and humanity as values that are essential to maintain harmony in our nation. The beauty of our democracy and the challenges to ensure lasting peace were focused upon.

The talk was an attempt to light a spark in the hearts and minds of young students and instill in them the values of peace and humanity

Swachh Bharat observed at SancoalePANAJI: The NSS Unit of MES College of Arts & Commerce observed the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on October 2, by cleaning the neighbourhood areas of Vidyanagar Colony and Zari of Sancoale Panchayat. Nearly 200 NSS volunteers and five NSS POs namely Sanjiv K Shirodkar, Shveta S Desai, Dr S Susan Deborah, Dattaprasad D Shirgurkar and Bhiku V Bhave cleaned the neighbourhood areas and collected about 75 sacks of plastic.
