Teacher's Day celebrated at Divar
PANAJI: Teachers’ Day was celebrated by the students of Our Lady of Divar High School, Divar on September 2.
Children organized a variety entertainment programme in honour of the teachers. The function began with a morning assembly by SSC students. This was followed by mass for teachers celebrated by Fr Glorio Barbosa in the chapel. Fr Barbosa in his homily praised the teachers for their dedicated services. At the end the students put up various cultural programme for the teachers. The students presented flowers and headmaster Mario Moraes presented gifts to the teachers. SSC students Elaine Lima and Rossma Serrao were the main coordinators of the programme under the guidance of headmaster Mario Moraes. Teacher Savita proposed the vote of thanks.
