MARGAO
At the Sunday gram sabha chaired by Sarpanch Steven Goes, the members were unanimous in their demand for a bypass at Coldem. They pointed out that the residents will be put to great hardships to cross the bypass once the western bypass is commissioned for traffic.

This is the second time that the Telaulim gram sabha has adopted a resolution demanding a bypass at Coldem. The sarpanch pointed out that the resolution adopted by the gram sabha will be sent to the government authorities for necessary acion.
Meanwhile, the gram sabha adopted a resolution moved by former sarpanch Zacarias Goes demanding the preparation of a village map showing all the interior roads of the village.
The gram sabha also adopted another resolution saying that conversion of agricultural land should be allowed in exceptional cases when the land in question was to be utilized for genuine public utility projects.
