Thousands attend Siridao feast

The annual feast of Our Lady of Annunciation was celebrated at the Chapel of Jesus of Nazareth, Siridao, on Sunday, with thousands of faithful from different walks of life flocking to the hillock.
A large number of devotees were seen standing in queue since early morning to offer prayers and seek blessings. The feast mass was concelebrated by Fr Socorro Mendes along with other priests.
BICHOLIM Police Head Constable Sitaram Gawas attached to Ponda traffic cell and his wife died, while their two children were seriously injured in a collision between their car and a truck at Navelim-Bicholim on Sunday.
