Quepem college bags 'A' grade accreditation

Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Quepem, has been awarded 'A' grade by the National Assesment Accreditation Council, Bengaluru.
At a news conference, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and Curchorem MLA Nilesh Cabral appreciated the efforts of the faculty of the college and also congratulated the principal and his team.
Parsekar said the credit of such an achievement should be given to the teaching and non-teaching faculty as well as to the alumini, ex-students for their contribution.
“Various co-curricular activities in Quepem college also paved the way in securing such a grade. Credit should also go to the then chief minister and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, who took cognizance to improve government educational institutions in the State since 2000,” said Parsekar.
College Principal Bhaskar Nayak said many students who had studied in the college have excelled in various profession around the world.
He also thanked the BJP government for its help in uplifting the college. He added that their objective is to improve infrastructure of the college and improve the quality of education and facilities.
