Three hurt in Mayem accident

BICHOLIM: Three youth from Mayem were injured after a motorcycle and a scooter collided with each other at Gaonkarwada-Mayem on Monday night.

According to Bicholim Police, the injured youth have been identified as Pooja Mahavir Prasad (20) from Bharatwada-Mayem, Chinmay Chodankar (16) and Divesh Ghatwal (18), both from Poira-Bicholim.

Police said Pooja was travelling on a scooter (GA-04-J-7702), while Chinmay and Divesh were proceeding on a motorcycle (GA-04-J-5729), when they met with an accident.

All the three injured were moved to GMC Hospital in Bambolim for medical treatment. Panchanama was conducted by LHC Vibhawari Gawas under the guidance of PI Ninad Deulkar.
