Truck turns turtle at Bendwada-Sanguem

The driver of a truck laden with mud had a narrow escape after the truck turned turtle at Bendwada-Sanguem on Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred while the driver of the truck was in the process of unloading mud for a bridge under construction at Bendwada.

The truck remained right on the edge of the river and the truck driver had a lucky escape with no injuries.

VASCOA youth from Kharewaddo-Vasco has been arrested in connection with the murder of Ramesh Chauhan of Thane-Maharashtra, who was found dead in Vasco.Vasco police was informed of a body lying near Annapurna Restaurant, and enquiries led police to identify the deceased as one Ramesh Chauhan of Linsur in Thane-Maharashtra, who was a beggar and chronic alcoholic.“It was also revealed that the deceased had been working at a kiosk near Vasco Railway Station," said a source.After…
