Two more Covid-19 related deaths took Goa’s pandemic toll to 3,335 and health authorities reported that 68 more people contracted the virus over the 24-hour reporting period of Wednesday-Thursday.
A 73-year-old lady from Goa Velha succumbed to the disease at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) at Bambolim on Thursday and a day earlier, a Benaulim resident in his late sixties died at a South Goa private hospital.
The DHS bulletin said, 68 of the 3881 samples examined tested positive marginally increasing the positivity rate to 1.75 %.
