Two more fall prey to Covid, victims count touches 618

Two more Covid-related deaths were recorded in Goa raising the Covid victim count to 618.

The deceased persons include a 65-year-old lady from Ponda and a 72-year-old man from Vasco. Both passed away at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.

A total of 235 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the state in the last 24 hours taking the total confirmed cases to 44,189. Of these, 2,209 are active cases while recovered cases have touched 41,362.

The recovery rate in Goa is now posted at 93.60 per cent.
