Two more get bail in Sequeira assault case

Two more accused involved in the assault of Joel Sequeira, son of former son of former sarpanch of Calangute and present Deputy Sarpanch Joseph Sequeira, were granted anticipatory bail on Monday.

 It may be recalled that Joel was allegedly assaulted by six accused on June 24. Police had arrested Prajesh Naik at the spot, while the other accused were absconding. The absconding accused, Ritesh Nagvekar and Rohan Nagvekar, had got anticipatory bail on Sunday, while the other two accused, Rahul Satardekar and his associate Judas, who claimed that though was present, but he was not involved in the assault, got anticipatory bail on Monday. The other two accused have approached the court for anticipatory bail and the hearing will take place on Tuesday.
