UAE Exchange institutes scholarships
PONDA: The Goa branch of UAE Exchange has announced scholarships for Goan students.
Addressing a news conference, Vishal Joshi, regional manager of UAE Exchange, said they will provide educational scholarships to the students through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity.
“The headmasters and PTAs will select the talented student of the school by organising competitions and the winners will get cash awards and certificates,” Joshi said.
“Our motto is to build confidence of the students by participating in competitions. Students from Std 5 to 10 can take part in it,” he informed.
According to Joshi, the staff of UAE Exchange will approach the school and will inform them about the talent search programme. “We will contact government schools near our branches at Margao, Panaji and Ponda,” he added.
