A 43-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh is reported to have ended his life at a rented house at Ponsulem-Canacona on Friday morning.
According to Canacona police, the incident took place as family members of Pramod Kumar Paliwal had returned from a visit to their relative’s house and found the main door locked from the inside.
On getting no response from Paliwal, they broke the main door open and found Paliwal dead in the bedroom.
Canacona police later conducted the panchnama and sent the body to the South Goa District Hospital at Margao for medico-legal formalities. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and Canacona PSI Ajit Velip is conducting the investigation.
