Vasco Congress Block led by GPCC Secretary Saifullah Khan canvassed for Congress Lok Sabha candidate Francisco Sardinha in Vasco.
Sardinha, who was accompanied by Vasco block members and other party workers, including Goa Fishermen Congress President Vaman Chodankar, campaigned in Mangor, Sasmolem and other parts of Vasco.
GPCC Secretary Saifullah Khan said GPCC members, District Congress Committee, Vasco block and organizations were present during the campaign.
“We had corner meetings in many parts of Vasco. People from every area came out in large numbers on their own to hear us out and extend their support. We feel that this time, people will vote for Congress as they are hurt and upset with BJP’s governance at the centre and state,” said Khan.
