Vasco police have registered a case against two accused and unidentified persons for allegedly duping a local resident through a fake advertisement for Hajj travel packages on Facebook.
According to police, the accused posted an online advertisement offering cheap travel packages to Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj.
Nasir Jamal of Baina-Vasco, who intended to send three of his friends or relatives for the pilgrimage, contacted the numbers mentioned in the ad.

However, the accused failed to provide the promised services or refund the amount, thereby cheating the complainant.
