The height barrier installed on the road leading to the Nehru Stadium behind the KTC bus stand depot was damaged after being hit by a vehicle on Saturday.
Following the incident, traffic on the road leading to Fatorda and the stadium was disrupted. Police arrived at the spot and cleared the damaged barrier, allowing traffic to resume.
The height barrier had been installed specifically to prevent heavy vehicles from using the narrow internal road, following requests from local residents.
