Verla cleaned of garbage

The Verla-Canca panchayat collected 120 bags of garbage, as part of its efforts to tackle the roadside garbage menace in the village.
Sarpanch Milton Marquis, Panch member Bala Naik, Ashok Bhaidkar and former deputy sarpanch Laxman Bicholkar directed the workers to clean the garbage from open spaces in all the wards of Verla-Canca village.
The residents would often file complaints about garbage menace in Canca, Bodgini, Fatsawada and other wards, while motorists would also complain of foul smell due to roadside garbage.
