Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane today deposited 1.5 Lakh rupees towards the State Legal Aid Fund, as directed by the High Court, in relation to the Adv. Aires Rodrigues threat to kill case.
The charge-sheet against Mr Rane was quashed following the non-opposition of the respondent and aggrieved Adv Rodrigues to Mr Rane's plea.
After some financial hiccup, the Health Minister has got some relief from the 10 year old case. Adv Rodrigues had filed case at Old Goa police station against Vishwajeet Rane for threatening to kill him.
