Will he contest or will he not?

The Leader of Opposition Pratapsing Rane kept everyone guessing on whether he would contest the 2017 elections but conveniently put the ball in the Congress party s court.

 He also accepted that age was not on his side but that the final call on contesting the election would be taken by the party. “Let us see. I belong to the Congress party. It depends if the Congress offers me a ticket or not...Or whether I will retire or not…” the senior Congressman said with a mischievous smile. He further said he will have to be fit enough to fight an election, whenever the election takes place or if somebody else is there… “I am not a youth…The party will take a call...There are various parameters depending on which the party will see if I am capable or whether I am fit or not,” Rane shot back when The Goan questioned the senior politician whether he fits in the party s scheme of things of giving tickets to the youth.
