Contending that security of tourists was of primary concern for the State government, Deputy Speaker and Calangute MLA, Michael Lobo said surveillance cameras will be installed on all the beaches from Sinquerim to Baga.
"Entire beach area of Sinquerim, Candolim, Calangute and Baga will have CCTV cameras. We want to assure the tourists that they are safe," Lobo said while addressing a news conference.

Calangute - to take care of any law and order problem in the two coastal villages.
Turning his focus on the development plans for the Calangute constituency, he said beautification work had already started sometime back and within two months people will see a sea change in Candolim and Calangute.
"The much-awaited development of Calangute and Candolim, Sinquerim, Baga and Arpora-Nagao has started. In the last five years, we have done whatever development we could and now we are moving at fast pace," he said.
The MLA said the ongoing sewerage work going on for the last four years and which has affected many people in Calangute, was in the final stage of completion. "We expect the sewerage project to start within next six months," he added.
He further said the present demolition of compound walls and other encroachments along the main road from Candolim to Baga was part of the beautification and traffic decongestion plan.
"Murals and sculptures will be placed at strategic points in Candolim and Calangute village. Ornamental lamps will also be erected. A large mural of a footballer will be erected on the roundabout at the Calangute-Baga junction," the MLA said. "For all this, an amount of Rs 9 crore has been sanctioned by the government and work has already been tendered," he added.
Similarly, he said, children's parks and open spaces will be developed.
The MLA said first phase of underground cabling has begun along the road from Candolim Panchayat to the beach.
"Smart transformers, underground cabling, ornamental lamps, etc, will be installed along the route," he said.
He also unveiled a plan to develop the current football ground, behind the Calangute Association Hall, which is used for parking.
"The plan is to build a mini-stadium and a parking facility which has been estimated to cost around Rs 350 crore," Lobo said.
He said to develop Goa into a world class tourism spot, there was urgent need to set up good infrastructure.
He disclosed that government of India has initiated steps to develop the coastal circuit which includes the two villages of Candolim and Calangute. Calangute Sarpanch Anthony Menezes, Candolim Sarpanch Blaize Fernandes and local panch member Shawn Martins also spoke.
Calangute ZP, Dattaprasad Dhabolkar and other panch members were also present.
