Goa Suraksha Manch has finalised its candidate for the Panaji bypoll, but it will wait for other parties to declare their candidates, GSM leader Subhash Velingkar said in a press conference on Saturday.
He further said, “We will fight the Panaji bypoll to win, and we will invest our full strength into it. We are sure we will win all the bypolls being held in Goa.”
The GSM leader informed the press that the party will conduct a roadshow in the Mandrem assembly constituency while a two-wheeler rally will be organised in the Mapusa assembly constituency on Sunday. Velingkar also alleged that Congress and BJP have spent crores of rupees in each assembly constituency going for the bypolls on April 23. He claimed unlike others, GSM is not fighting the elections based on money power.
