St Cruz MLA Rudolf Fernandes said that he will be with the people in opposing projects which the villagers do no want. Speaking at the Chimbel gram sabha, Fernandes said that he will support the people in opposing the inclusion of the Kadamba plateau in the GPPDA as well as the setting up of Central project in Provedoria property.
“If the people do not want any project, then I will be with them in opposing the same,” Fernandes stated.
On the issue of resolving water supply issues in Chimbel, Fernandes said that he has already proposed setting up of an overhead water tank along with a sump in Indira Nagar.
“Also, the unused water tank at Military camp will be utilized to resolve the water supply issues in the village,” the MLA added.
