VALPOI
According to reports, the incident took place as Chaya Shashikant Ghadi was travelling along with her husband and their two children on a motorcycle to the Valpoi hospital for medical treatment.
While one child was placed in front of the rider, the other child was seated between Shashikant and Chaya, the pillion rider.
As they were travelling from Advoi to Valpoi via Redhighat, Chaya reportedly fell off the motorcycle as her husband was negotiating some potholes. She sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to the Valpoi hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.
Valpoi police conducted the panchnama and sent the body for an autopsy at GMC.
