A woman arrested by the Mapusa Police on Wednesday for cheating tourists on the pretext of providing them with prostitution services was released on Thursday by a Mapusa court on conditional bail.
The court released the woman on a personnel guarantee of Rs 10,000.
The incident took place in Siolim on December 15, when the accused met the victims from Telangana. The woman had threatened defame the victims and took away Rs 20,000 and a phone from them.
