PORVORIM
A case of alleged cheating involving Rs 47 lakh has been registered at Porvorim Police Station following a complaint by Santosh Valvoikar, a resident of Kaskarwaddo, Porvorim.
According to the complaint, before June 30, 2026, the accused, Kajal Prakash Nanoskar, 25, allegedly induced Valvoikar and others by falsely promising to provide plots and flats in Goa.
The accused allegedly collected and misappropriated Rs 47 lakh from the complainant and others.
Porvorim Police have registered an offence under Section 318(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Nanoskar has been arrested and is currently in police custody.
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Vignesh Naik.
