Workers feted at Vasco

PANAJI: JCI Vasco felicitated women garbage pickers in its project 'Salute the Silent Workers' in order to recognise the work and dedication of those who do their work without being recognized or praised at a function in Vasco.

The speakers while hailing them said that these women have proved that they have love for their work and have dedication towards it.

Grace Fernandes, general manager of HDFC Bank, Vasco branch, was the chief guest for the function. Shainaz Shariff, president of JCI Vasco welcomed the women and thanked them for the work they do. Rohan Bandekar compered the function. Also present were Leroy Menezes, Kiran Kumar, Sarvesh Surlkar and Bhagwan.
