Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 54th edition of the International Film Festival of India, CM Pramod Sawant said, “The State government is working towards making the State the hub of film making and we believe that IFFI will help in promoting the State as a film friendly destination.”
Sawant also announced that a Film City will be set up in Goa in fast track manner.
Speaking on the sideline of the event, CM said he was hopeful that Ease of Doing Business offered through ESG’s single window clearance will attract international film makers to the State.
He also said that efforts will be made to complete Film City project in two to three years.
