Workshop on IPR awareness, national IP policy
PANAJI: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Govt. of India, is organising a workshop on IPR awareness and national IP policy on July 1 between 2pm to 6pm at CII Goa State Office, Salgaocar Centre, Rua de Ourem, Mala-Panaji Goa.
Officials from DIPP and Intellectual Property Office (IPO) will the addressing the sessions on Introduction to Patents & Its Importance, Protecting Brands: Understanding the concept of Trademarks, Understanding Other Forms of IP such as Industrial Design, Copyright, Trade Secret and its relevance to Industries and Nuts & Bolts of the National IPR Policy: Highlights of National IPR Policy.
The main objective of the event is to create the awareness on Intellectual Property Rights and its advantages and also to discuss on the National IPR Policy 2016 for the benefit of all stakeholders, startups, industries and academia.
