World Health Day at Valpoi CHC
VALPOI: The Community Health Centre Valpoi (CHC) observed World Health Day by organising various programmes at CHC Valpoi.
Students of Navodaya Vidhyalaya at Valpoi performed a play and yoga exercises. Talks on diabetes and balanced diet were given to the students and invitees by CHC medical officers.
Health officer Surekha Parulekar, medical officers Dr Shyam Kankonkar and Dr Abhijeet Wadkar addressed the school students on key issues, including healthy diet, regular physical activity, maintaining normal body weight and avoiding tobacco.
