A youth from Dabolim has been booked on charges of abusing and assaulting a grocer from Mangor Hill in Vasco.
In his complaint, Sourabh Yadav accused Amit Gawade from Dabolim of abusing his uncle, Kripashankar Yadav, and assaulting him near Maharanapratap Building in Mangor Hill.
Police sources said the victim runs a grocery shop and the motive was a dispute over credit settlement.
Vasco police has registered an offence against Gawade under Sections 504, 307 Indian Penal Code and Lady Police Sub-Inspector Prajoti Dessai is conducting investigations under the supervision of Vasco Police Inspector Nilesh Rane.
