Youth festival on Dec 15, 16
BICHOLIM: Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will organise its 14th State-level youth festival at Ravindra Bhavan Margao on December 15 and 16, to select youth to participate in the National Youth Festival-2016 at Raipur-Chattisgarh from January 12 to 16, 2016.
Sakhali MLA Dr Pramod Sawant said the preliminaries for the north district it will be held on November 28 and 29 at Ravindra Bhavan Sakhali and for south district at DYSA open ground Canacona on December 4 and 5.
The district level festival will be held in two categories - students and non-students in the age group of 15-29 years. The first three winners of both the districts and in both categories will meet in the State-level youth festival to decide the State winners.
He also informed that the State youth award for individual youth and voluntary youth organization will be presented during the State youth festival at Ravindra Bhavan Margao on December 15.
