VASCO: A youth from Bihar but residing at Birla was arrested by Verna police on charges of stealing electricity cables worth Rs 1 lakh.
According to DySP Sunita Sawant, one Ronald Pinto of Porvorim had complained that Kumar (25), an electrical contractor of a company at Verna had stolen electricity cables from an open space of the company at Verna Industrial Estate on January 20 with the help of three accomplices who were in a tempo.
Kumar has been arrested under Section 379 read with 34 of IPC and Verna PSI Stanley Gomes is investigating the case.
