‘Make Your City Smart’ contest
PANAJI: Panaji has been selected under the Smart City Mission of Union Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), GoI. In an effort to initiate the smart city projects, Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited has announced a 'Make Your City Smart’ competition wherein citizens are invited to conceptualise designs for a street and a junction. The areas that are shortlisted for the competition are Rua de Ourem street, the junctions at the Old Patto bridge and Four Pillars junction. The participants will have to submit innovative concepts on how they envision these spaces to be developed.
The competition is open to all including students from schools, colleges. The top three winning entries will be awarded cash prizes. The competition has gone live on September 28. The last date for the submission of entries is October 31.
