The All India Haj Committee vice-chairman Shaikh Jina has charged some leaders with misguiding Muslims.
MARGAOr rAddressing a press conference, Jina claimed 190 Hajis will embark on Haj Yatra this year in a total of 690 Hajis, including those from Karnataka who will board the flight on July 24. rJina said all devotees who will embark on the Haj Yatra will be put up at the Minara Masjid, Zuarinagar while some others will be accommodated in a hotel in the nearby area. rStating that the BJP led government in the State had sanctioned a sum of Rs 16 lakh for the Haj yatra, Jina said the Haj House as promised will be constructed on land admeasuring 6,200 sq mts. He said the Chief Minister has assured him in this regard. rVice-chairman of State Haj Committee, Abdullah Makandar was among others who was also present for the press conference.
