MARGAO: Leader of the Opposition Babu Kavlekar on Wednesday took potshots at the government for not inviting Cuncolim MLA Clafacio Dias for the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of the NIT institute at the residence of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. “It is indeed surprising that the Cuncolim MLA was not invited for the foundation stone laying ceremony at the residence of the CM. We had seen on the photograph that ex-Cuncolim MLA Rajan Naik was also present at the ceremony. We have no objection over the presence of the ex-MLA, but certainly the government ought to have invited incumbent MLA Clafacio Dias.”
