CEO meets leaders of political parties

The Chief Electoral Officer, Kunal, IAS held a debriefing meeting with representatives of political parties at Altinho today.

 Kunal, IAS complimented all the representatives of Political Parties for their cooperation and support in the conduct of free, fair and peaceful Assembly Election 2022. 

 The meeting was chaired by the Chief Electoral Officer Kunal, IAS. Narayan Sawant, Additional CEO, Sangeeta Naik, Dy CEO and Manohar Karekar, Asst Nodal Officer Election Expenditure Monitoring  were present on the occasion.

Representative of Political Parties shared their experience during the Election process.  Altinho Gomes, INC appreciating the cooperation and guidance provided by Chief Electoral Officer  and his Office during this General Assembly Election 2022 said  Kunal's approach to problems was remarkable. He felt that political parties will miss Kunal, IAS with his transfer to Delhi.

Pundalik Raut Desai, BJP also appreciated office of the Chief Electoral Officer for imparting various training for Political Parties especially filling of nomination and maintaining account which he said such training helps the political parties a lot 

Kunal, IAS said that the establishment and strengthening of democratic processes and institutions is the common responsibility of governments, the electorate and more so of the organized political forces.  Goa is beautiful State and people in Goa are peaceful, he said and thanked and complimented all the Political Parties for successfully and peaceful conduct of election. 

The representatives of Political parties who attended the meeting were Altinho Gomes, Vice President of Congress Party, Pundalik Raut Desai, Bhartiya Janata Party, Gaurav Naik, Maharastrawadi Gomantak Party.
