CANACONA: Two persons have been arrested in Canacona on charges of setting ablaze a Royal Enfield bullet at Devabhaga junction on Sunday midnight. According to Canacona police, the two accused, Julius Fernandes and Jeetendra Allali allegedly set ablaze the bullet motorcycle, which was parked at Devabhaga junction roadside, causing a loss of about Rs 2 lakh.
Acting on a complaint by Ramdas Faldessai of Patnem, Canacona police registered a case annd arrested both accused under Sections 435, 336 r/w 34 IPC. They were later released on bail.PSI Ramchandra Naik is investigating the case under the supervision of Canacona PI Pravin Gawas.
