The preliminary round of the 6th All Goa Konkani Solo Singing Competition “Mhozo Tallo Aikat” organised by the Goa Cultural and Social Centre, Panaji was held recently at Clube Vasco da Gama, Panaji.The Finals of this competition will be held on June 19, at 6 pm at Institute Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji which will be telecasted live on Youtube and Facebook.
The following 27 finalists are selected out of the 95 contestants.
In Junior category, the contestants are - Angelica Colaso (Loutolim), Nacia Nevis Britto (Mandrem), Valen Seanan Antao (Shiroda), Blossom Regina Pereira (Majorda), Anca Barreto (Borim), Hale Stefani Rodrigues (Colva), Symphonia Maria D’ Souza (Mandrem), Briell Pereira (Ponda), Mystica Barretto (Sinquetim “ Navelim) and Rachael Liza Gonsalves (Cujira “ Santa Cruz).
In the Seniors (Female) category, the contestants are - Jane De Souza (Siolim), Raissa Fernandes (Seraulim), Arantxa Colaco (Canacona), Christan Carmin Correia (Neura), Dinora Kenisha Barreto (Sinquetim “ Navelim), Clarissa Camelo (Siolim), Sigrid Jane Da Cunha (Ponda), Riya R Chodankar (Bicholim), Alvita Alvia Dias (Betalbatim) and Alina Nazareth (Merces).
In Seniors (Male) category, the contestants are - Asner N M Fernandes (Bambolim), Savio Domingos Costa (Merces), Cloy AJ Da Cunha (Benaulim), Ivo Lobo Goncalves (Moira), Samuel Abraham (Porvorim), Avison D’ Costa (San Jose de Areal) and Ashton Agnel Mendes (Nuvem).
