Four of the seven passengers sustained minor injuries when a KTC bus veered off the Parra-Saligao road and went into a field on Monday morning.
According to reports, the mishap took place at about 7.10 am on Monday, when the KTC was proceeding from Mapusa to Calangute via Saligao.
As the bus reached the Parra-Saligao road, the driver slowed the bus down to pick up a passenger and went over a speed rumbler, when the steering got jammed. The bus veered towards the right and entered a roadside field.
Four of the seven passengers in the bus sustained minor injuries in the mishap and they were administered treatment at the Mapusa District Hospital. Mapusa Police Constable Ulhas Gawkar conducted the panchanama.
