A 50-year-old man from from Deulwaddo-Varkhand, died after being attacked by a wild boar on Sunday morning.
According to reports, the incident took place at about 9 am when Ankush Sakharam Parab had taken his pet animals to the Dhargal jungle along with his brother.
Parab was attacked by the wild boar and died on the spot, claimed his brother.
Pernem Police Sub-Inspector Sanjit Kandolkar conducted the panchanama under the guidance of Pernem Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi and the body was later handed over to the family after an autopsy.
