Panaji: In a major announcement, Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho assured regularization of 545 houses in the New Vaddem colony in Vasco.
Godinho highlighted the government's commitment to providing secure housing for residents, many of whom work for the Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC).
“These individuals work tirelessly to keep our city clean and functioning. It is our duty to ensure they have a proper place to call home,” he stated.
Chairman of Goa Housing Board Jeet Arolkar assured that the Goa Housing Board would expedite the regularization process.
This decision is expected to bring much-needed relief to MMC workers and other residents who have faced uncertainty regarding their housing for years. With the government's assurance, residents can now look forward to a stable and secure living situation.
