Goa recorded an all-time single day high of Covid infections with 4,195 new cases coming to light even as 56 more persons including a 17-year old girl from Sindhudurg succumbed to the dreaded virus.
Of these 56 deaths, seven were brought dead and of the 32 patients who expired at GMC, four passed away on May 5 and May 6.
The South Goa District Hospital recorded 16 deaths whereas the North Goa District Hospital saw two deaths. There was one death witnessed at ESI and one was brought dead to Hospicio.
