BICHOLIM: The Bicholim Municipal Council (BMC) began the process of removing eight structures at Pirachi Kon in Bicholim after acting on directives from the high court.
BMC officials removed the eight encroachments with the help of machinery and manpower, with a police team stationed to maintain law and order. Bicholim Mamlatdar Praveen Gawas was also present to supervise the demolition drive.
