Goa recorded nine more Covid deaths -- six at GMC and three at South Goa District Hospital, in the last 24-hours. This takes the death toll of the State to 3022.
The positivity rate was 6.3 % on Thursday with 229 of the 3,596 samples testing positive for Covid. With 258 recoveries, the active Covid count of the State stands at 2,727.
The recovery rate was 96.52 %. The patients discharged from the hospitals were 30 and new admissions were 35.
MAPUSAThe Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC) on Thursday decided to conduct a joint inspection of the Tar river by next week and to form a special committee to handle the issue.This was decided at a special meeting chaired by MMC Chairperson Shubhangi Waingankar and attended by MLA Joshua D’Souza, MMC Chief Officer Clein Madeira, MMC Vice Chairperson Chandrashekhar Benkar, councillors, officials from Captain of Ports, PWD (road), WRD and Bastora Sarpanch Ranjeet Usgaonkar.…
