91 more Covid cases recorded in Bardez

Bardez has recorded 91 positive cases in spite of nil cases reported in Aldona Primary Health Centre on Saturday.

Once again, Candolim PHC recorded highest number of cases at 42, while Mapusa and Siolim reported 17 cases each.

According Candolim PHC Health Officer, Dr Roshan Nazareth, 12 tested positive in Calangute, Candolim (10),  Pilerne (10), Reis Magos (7), Arpora (5), Nerul (2) and Sangolda (1).

The total number of cases in Porvorim PHC was nine. According to the health officer, Penha de France (5), Salvador do Mundo (2),  Guirim (2).

The Mapusa UHC recorded 17 positive cases. The Health Officer Dr Cheryl de Souza informed that seven persons tested positive in Khorlim, Pedem (5), Carrasvaddo (3) and one each in Ganeshpuri and Gaunsavaddo.

Siolim PHC Health Officer Dr Sadhna Shetye informed that 17 persons were infected, with Anjuna (10), Canca (3),  Parra (3) and Assagao (1).

Colvale PHC reported a total of six positive cases. Health Officer Dr Damodar Narvenkar said four persons tested positive in Tivim and one each in Colvale and Central Jail.

Aldona PHC Health Officer Dr Preetam Naik informed that no new cases were reported in her jurisdiction on Saturday.
