The Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday opened a new office in Shiroda as the party finds huge support in the wake of Arvind Kejriwal's employment guarantee. The office was inaugurated by AAP Goa Sr Vice President Mahadev Naik. The Aam Aadmi Party has been getting support from all sections of Goan society in its campaigns. Residents of Shiroda will now easily be able to reach out to the party leadership via this office.
The opening of the office comes in the background of AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister's second guarantee on employment. The Aam Aadmi Party has been aggressively campaigning in Shiroda where they visited residents door to door to share Arvind Kejriwal's electricity guarantee.
Shiroda residents have reacted extremely positively to Arvind Kejriwal's employment guarantee as many youth of Shiroda feel that they have been cheated by their MLAs. They look forward to the transparency that Arvind Kejriwal will bring to job allocation and the 80% reservation of jobs for Goans.
"People in Shiroda are joining and supporting AAP in large numbers. Many of them are excited by Arvind Kejriwal's employment guarantee as the youth has been cheated by sitting MLAs and other political parties" said AAP Sr Vice President Mahadev Naik. "The BJP is assuring only 10,000 jobs of which they won't even provide 1,000. All the youth know that this is just a jumla," added Naik
Kejriwal has guaranteed that every youth will be given employment after the formation of the AAP government and till the employment is not provided, one youth of every family will begiven Rs 3,000 per month. He announced that 80 per cent of jobs in the private sector will be reserved for the youth of Goa. Rs 5,000 would be provided monthly to families who lost employment due to shutdown of tourism and mining. AAP Government will further establish a Skill University in Goa on the lines of Delhi’s DSEU.
