PANAJI: Ahead of the 2027 Goa Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has confirmed receiving an alliance offer from the Manoj Parab-led Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP), signalling possible opposition unity in the State.
AAP MLA Venzy Viegas said the party is open to joining forces with RGP, stressing that “people’s interests come first.”
The development comes at a time when political equations are beginning to take shape ahead of the 2027 Assembly polls, with regional and national parties in opposition including Congress, AAP, Goa Forward Party and RGP exploring strategic tie-ups to strengthen their electoral prospects.
